Questions, answered
Is it really free?
Yes — completely. Rooms, video calls, watching together, chat and your memories wall are all free. Your memories are kept until 12 months after the room was last used.
Do I need an app or account?
No. Everything runs in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer. No downloads, no sign-up — just open the link. You can add it to your home screen if you like.
What can we watch together?
YouTube and Vimeo videos, your own video files and photos straight from your phone or computer. Playback stays in sync for everyone: when one pauses, everyone pauses.
Is it private?
Your room only exists for people who have the link, and whoever created it can add a password. Calls are encrypted from device to device; when a direct connection isn't possible they pass through our relay server, which can't read them. Videos and photos you share are kept on our server for at most 6 hours.
How many people can join?
Up to 8 people in one room — perfect for a family evening or a movie night with friends across the world.
Video and audio are end-to-end encrypted peer-to-peer. Chat is relayed by the server and may be moderated.
